Don't Fear The Process

Trusting God is hard sometimes. We have this desire to know what is around the corner. We want to be ready for what may bring great joy or great pain. Is it not true that we fear the processes in our life? We have a goal in mind, a dream, and then we look at this journey that it takes t0 get there, and we shrink back, we give up, or we just put our hope in fear rather than in His promises. How many times would something not have happened in your life if you feared the process. Jump in the process with both feet. If my dear friend, who's soup kitchen feeds 500 people a week feared the process of starting what seemed like an impossible journey, 500 people a week would have to get food elsewhere. I feared the process of going back to school at age 35, but I jumped in and now I'm in the home stretch. If my precious daughter Shanen feared the process of going to Africa, she would be missing a world of blessings wrapped in a gift from God. This is the truth: No matter what the past has handed us, or what we know to be true, we do not know what we will experience in the processes of life. One thing we can be sure of is this: If we never start the process, we will never know. The journey and process to a dream is filled with bumps, mountain tops, valleys, deep waters, sunshine, rain, pain, joys, laughter, awesome moments, words in season, divine moments, divine appointments, heartache, and relationships. The enemy has us focus on this scary journey and with that we lose hope and vision. Truth: he knows it's the process that makes us stronger, builds character, and drops life's joys right into our hands. The process brings the strength we need. The processes in our life, is our life. Jump in with both feet and let the process make you into the person God is calling you to be. Don't let the process stop you. Let the process take you through all the above and straight into your dreams.
